6 Foot Leather Puppy Leash

Our puppy leashes are light weight and measure 6 ft. long x 3/8 in. wide. They are handmade by the Amish from Latigo Leather and imported hardware. Because the leash is so thin, it is best not to rivet the leash as it will only weaken the leather. This is our only leash that is not riveted.

Our dog training leashes are the finest leather dog leashes that money can buy. You will never find a leash of this quality in any pet store or dog food warehouse.

You can buy a cheaper leash at any store in your town, but you will NEVER buy a better quality leash anywhere. Mine is well broken in and I love the feel of mine so much that when the thread wore through by the clasp, I went to a show maker and got it restitched! This leash is made in America of Latigo leather.

Hands Free Leash

I love having a Hands-Free Leash! This shows our over the shoulder leash. It's 6' long and 3/4" wide with 2 bronze snaps and 2 "O" rings. This leash can be worn over the shoulder, to quickly secure a dog or it can be used in training as a longer training leash.

It's great to have a Hands-Free Leash when taking your dog out in public when you might want to use 2 hands (think open air shopping, festivals, loading the car). The dog is held securely and your have 2 hands to use. Since these leashes are made in America and stained using natural oils and dyes, it is possible to rub off on some clothing. Latigo Leather City Lead

This 2-handled leash is perfect for so many reasons. It is basically our 6 ft leather leash with an extra loop handle placed closer to the dog. We love this leash for walking our dogs. When a stranger, other animal, or any distraction approaches you and your dog while walking simply reach down to the lower handle and pull your dog close. When the distraction has passed you can release the second loop and go back to walking your dog as usual.

Our dog leashes are made from soft Latigo leather. You will never find a leash of this quality in any pet store or dog food warehouse.

The snaps on our leather dog leashes and collars are made from the highest quality solid brass. These snaps are generally sewn and then pop riveted to insure the highest security available.

Synthetic Training Line

This tracking line is made of synthetic material that looks and feels exactly like leather. Choose the length best suited for your needs. Tracking line can get wet and is great for training.

Our Amish maker hasn’t made leather reins in a few years because he uses this material instead when making bridles and reins for his customers.

The tracking line is ½ ” wide by 1/8” thick. It is 1/3 lighter than leather lines, very soft and very pliable. Great for training recalls and sits/stays with increasing distance.
